018: Meaning and purpose

Victor Frankl’s “The Search for Meaning” was a key book for me when I was having trouble dealing with some personal suffering. It’s a very short read but it taught me a lot about how to learn to cope during hard times. It sort of speaks to the core of our humanity, and how we’re an eternally hopeful species. I’m eternally glib, hence the joke.

Even less happy with this jungle background. My limited palette and limited experience (and very limited patience by the time I get to the background part of the comic…) leads me to just want to get it done and published and worry about it on the next one.
