028: Back to “normal”

Wanted to try some different lighting for this one, so I went with a sunset. I think the gag is quite adequate. I like how I turned the quote around on Sam here.

I’ve been tempted to have Sam in a beach chair or something, but I feel like he can be so much more expressive if he’s just sitting directly on the sand. Plus, it’s a mysterious deserted island. There aren’t a lot of chair stores. We’ll get to that.

I’m a huge fan of R-0Y’s look in panel three.

Take little opportunities to practice little technique improvements any chance you get. There’s almost no downside to just trying something new on a small scale.
