035: Murphy’s Law of Silence

Any parent will equally develop a noise alarm and a silence alarm. If it’s too quiet, that’s often worse than when it’s too loud. At least when it’s loud you know if someone’s seriously hurt or on fire.

More bland backgrounds. I think it would add at least three or four hours to every comic if I were to come up with something interesting and unique for each comic. That would push it over the 10-hour mark, and I feel that would jeopardize me actually completing it. I’d rather have a boring scene than no comic at all. I think that as the comic progresses I will be forced to do plenty of new challenges.

Know when to push yourself and when you should just keep going.
