040: Armed to the teeth

Wrapping up the new character arc feels pretty good! One more sort of “wrap up” before we move on to more zany adventures! Or just more quotes and puns. Who knows! I’m enjoying the variety. I have only one fully written comic as of this post, so I need to sit down and work out the next five to ten at least. I have it outlined pretty well, but they need punchlines/gags/puns/quotes/ideas.
Kind of trying to up my background game, even if it ends up getting mostly obscured by the type. I really, really dislike doing backgrounds. But they really add a complete-ness to the comic, and obviously building a world can’t happen if you never draw it! The next ten comics take place in a white void for some reason.
This particular comic might be the new record, however. I believe it’s about 10 hours, with the average being about 6-7. I don’t see myself being able to do more than one comic a week. Good things take time! And it’s not like I have throngs of fans waiting for this. Maybe someday I’ll have a Patreon following that will influence me to pick up the pace. But for now I think this is a good rhythm. We’ll miss weeks, we’ll do extra comics other weeks. But about every week or so feels right for now.
