063: Step Won

And we return to the furthest point ventured (finally). Only four comics in seven weeks is a bit of a concern, but we have to contend with life, the universe, and everything. I’ve done the math I can basically slack off another seven weeks and still make it.
This comic took seven hours. I repeated the background four times in a rare move. I try to vary up at least one panel per comic, but for this one I kind of wanted a simpler sequence. Literally varying up the “meta” of the comic from time to time.
It is 2024 now, and I should reaaaallly update the blog with more content. But I’m also experimenting with live streaming? Why not? It forces me to sit and work and that’s a good thing for sure. But I am not working any faster. I think I have 37 comics left in me this year… and then we’re going to have a long experimental phase. I am thinking ‘comic’ size, with a more comic book style? Thinking. Not doing.
