078: Thank your lucky vines

Another ‘interlude’ comic with the intent of establishing the dynamic between two characters. Laurel and Kevin are going to be decidedly antagonistic – at least for the first little while. I made the decision while doing the first panel that they will always start every 1-on-1 with a ‘hot start’; that is to say their conversations will always start from a place of confrontation. Will they eventually get out of this negative cycle and actually communicate with one another? Only time will tell.
I started this comic to practice drawing and work on my ‘parts work’ – getting all my various personalities to co-exist and accept each other under one roof/island/brain. In theory I’ll be working on it for many hundreds of comics. Maybe they’ll all become the best of friends? Maybe they’ll end up throwing their poop at each other? Who knows! Not me!
