As an artist, you have this problem with your art that your taste—or your sense of what looks good—is greater than your skill level. This is where most people abandon their artistic endeavours. You know what you want it to look like, you just can’t make it go. The challenge is to just keep going until your skill rises to match (or maybe even exceed) your taste.
