031: Meaningful Meanings

I want to slowly build up the “world” as we go, and not just have a big exposition dump. If I do it right, you’ll have to read the first hundred comics to get the full origin story. I kind of want to reward the people that go back and slog through these comics to get the complete experience.

Small character design correction: The little robot’s battery door is a different colour than his body, giving hip that sort of “underwear flap” vibe.

I absolutely unintentionally made a joke very similar to the very first episode of Red vs. Blue. Took a Reddit user to point out that bitter truth. Love that series. Happy to have unconsciously honoured them.

There’s a fine line between homage and copying. Stay aware of your influences and don’t be afraid to pull a joke if it’s too close to the original!
