034: Roy vs. The Jungle

Second comic in a week! You can tell if you’re enjoying what you’re creating not by how much you like your work (I still hate everything I’ve ever made…like a lot) but by how much time you find yourself devoting to your craft. I am finding that I would rather work on the comic than most of my traditional spare time sinks (TV, video games, hobo wrestling).
I quite enjoy having a robot character with human emotions and reactions. It gives me lots of opportunities for funny faces and weird uses for the arms. Roy’s arms are somewhat extendible and generally reflect his mood or accentuate his actions.
My favourite part of this one is the ‘smoke cloud of exit’ straight out of Looney Tunes. What made Roy so scared? What’s that shadow in the jungle?
