047: Never running out of shoe puns

There will never not be a time when I don’t rely on horrible puns to make the funny. If it makes you laugh, it’s funny enough to make.
This was another comic that involved zero re-using, copying, or importing of any elements. I have been steadily improving simply through repetition of drawing the same basic characters and backgrounds many times. I can draw my characters without reference poses or previous drawings, and the backgrounds with the jungle/trees are the same basic combination of elements in different arrangements.
That’s also the last for this little three-pack arc. I was originally going to make it a lot longer and actually show Sam without shoes on, but I think I’m going to make it a bit of a running gag instead. Plus, given the amount of adventuring that’s coming to the comic, he’s going to probably want footwear!
