051: Goose Down

Tried to be a bit more artsy than fartsy with this one. It’s giving mid. Meh. I tried.
This comic is definitely a departure in several ways. First, I’m breaking from a ‘comic strip with a joke’ format and giving my first real attempt at ‘action comic’. My designer brain pollutes my artistic vision like pouring orange juice into milk. Things get a bit curdled.
Honestly I’m not unhappy with the way it turned out. I think I kept that line of not showing too much (we don’t find out who the mysterious saviour is for another…20 comics?) but also showing how a goose can be saved from falling down a waterfall by swinging from a vine. Not a lot of reference art for that.
