052: Chickening Out

These last few comics are among my first attempts at a more ‘action-oriented’ style of comic. They don’t make a lot of sense out of context, and don’t really have a ‘punchline’ per se. It’s different, and that’s okay. Haven’t completely explored all the different voices/styles yet, and I don’t need to lock it down for any reason.
I had a hard time drawing this one, because I couldn’t find any kind of reference art. I would like to find a black and white comic that shows a first-person point of view of someone going in and out of consciousness. I definitely don’t have a visual vocabulary for that. I did the best I could. I don’t hate it. That’s enough for now. Cut it. Print it. Move on to the next one!
