065 : Lost and then Plot

The statistics say 8 3/4 hours on this one. The Temple finally makes its debut and it’s…okay I guess? I am trying not to get too bogged down in design of things, but this is a major plot point for the next 35 comics or so. So I tried to at least do something I wouldn’t mind re-drawing several times. I kind of went for a mix of architectural features… maybe it comes across… I don’t hate it and that’s good enough.

Backpack has returned from Comic 061…whoops! I guess I just forgot about it the last few comics. Too late to circle back so we’re just going to forge ahead. The attitude is to just move forward and not worry about things like continuity.

So what is the Temple? Is this just a blatant Lost ripoff? I have watched the entire series…four…times? And obviously on a mysterious island full of…mystery….it’s going to give Lost sometimes. I’m absolutely planning on leaning into that fact as the series goes on. It’s all part of the loosely worked out plan! OR IS IT.
