068: Tired Irony

Laboured over this one for some time. I think it was written in its first form before comic #050! Obviously massaged quite a bit, but the core idea of hating on ‘Ironic’ has been there a while. Since like…1998!
The ‘forms’ of Sam really bug me in this one. The angle/perspective/posture is just wrong. I just went with it. They can’t all be high art, and comics are meant to be consumed quickly. Also I think the hands make up for it. Make one finger ‘stick out’ compared to the others. It really makes a huge difference.
I’m also a huge fan of Roy’s ‘side comedy’ here. No, he can’t eat. He can make a fake sandwich from leaves and make chewing noises!
